Started by Maddie & Morgan Manning, the Bundle Up Club is a non-profit organization on a mission to make a difference in the world by providing hand-made blankets, hats, scarves, and other goods to those in need.
Maddie & Morgan want people to know they’re valuable; they want them to feel loved. They want the homeless, the needy, the less-fortunate, the forgotten to know they are worth the investment of their time and effort and work and thoughts and prayers.
It's a cold world outside - let's blanket them in His love.

2018 Project and Chickasaw Nation TV

Hello All!

It's been quite a while since we had an update for you as we've been on an extended break, but we just wanted to quickly drop by and let you know what's going on with Maddie and Morgan and the Bundle Up Club.

We are happy to announce that we have chosen a new project for 2018 and it's one we're super excited about! We will be making blankets for children who are in Chickasaw Nation Foster Care system. We are grateful for the opportunity to let these children know we care and are thinking of them. As Chickasaw citizens, this project is very meaningful to us as we love to give to those who are in our own community. We are proud of our Chickasaw heritage and are thankful to be part of a tribe that provides so much for its people.

Like the project we completed for the Jimmy Everest Cancer Center at OU Medical, this will be a blanket only endeavor. We will be making about 65 blankets for kids ages 10 and under, and we will be making them more personalized (favorite colors, patterns, characters, etc.) for each child. For this reason, project costs will be a bit more than usual. Patterned fleece typically costs a great deal more than plain, and because we are individualizing each blanket, we will be unable to buy fleece in bulk like we normally do, which generally cuts our costs significantly.  We are currently working with a contact in the Chickasaw Nation Child Welfare Services Department who is gathering information about each child's preferences. When the information is compiled, she will then forward it on to us so that we can begin purchasing fleece.

As usual, we will need help making the blankets, but most especially, we will need financial support. Patterned fleece typically costs $10.95 per yard or more. Each blanket requires four yards of fleece, so as you can tell, this will be pretty expensive. BUT - it is so worth it!! We want each child to be able to have something that he/she loves and can take with them wherever they go. If you would like to help us make blankets, or if you would like to sponsor a child for $30, please let us know. We will also probably have other fundraisers to help, so stay tuned for announcements!

Another exciting opportunity that has presented itself is an upcoming interview with Chickasaw Nation TV. We will be interviewed next Thursday, and will be able to share with them what we do, why we do it, the projects we have completed so far, and what our plans for the future are. We'll keep you posted!

2016 Final Update

Happy New Year!

We just wanted to update everyone on our Mama T's project total. The items are being stored with us until the shelter is ready to open, but we are happy to report that we have 155 hats, 100 scarves, 169 blankets, 150 pairs of gloves, and 150 pairs of socks to donate! WooHoo! Great, BIG thank you to everyone who helped us with this project in 2016.

The Bundle Up Club started in May of 2014. Since that time, we have donated 2,128 items to those in need!

736 hats
330 scarves
662 blankets
150 pairs of gloves
252 pairs of socks

We appreciate all the support and help we receive. We couldn't do it without you! We don't know for sure what our project will be for 2017, but as soon as we know, we'll update!
