Since our last progress report, we have made/received an additional 13 blankets, 2 hats, and 5 scarves, which brings our totals to 44 blankets, 60 hats, and 47 scarves. We also have items currently being made that are not included in these numbers!
Our t-shirt fundraiser went better than expected. We ended up selling about 50 and were able to raise $200. Thanks to all who bought one!
School starts three weeks from today. Although we may not get as much accomplished once we return because of busier schedules, we will continue to work. It is our plan to make as many items as possible before we leave for Kentucky, and we are still expecting to reach our goal of 100 of each item. And speaking of Kentucky, our friend and Bundle Up partner has given us some exciting news: during our visit, we will be interviewed by a local newspaper and a Christian radio station!
We are thrilled about all the opportunity God has given us and the help He has provided. It's because of Him that we've been able to accomplish what we have so far. It is such a blessing and privilege to be able to give to others!
Thanks again for all of your help and support!
Started by Maddie & Morgan Manning, the Bundle Up Club is a non-profit organization on a mission to make a difference in the world by providing hand-made blankets, hats, scarves, and other goods to those in need.
Maddie & Morgan want people to know they’re valuable; they want them to feel loved. They want the homeless, the needy, the less-fortunate, the forgotten to know they are worth the investment of their time and effort and work and thoughts and prayers.
It's a cold world outside - let's blanket them in His love.
Matthew 25:36
